About this privacy notice
At Swoep.AI ("Swoep", "we", "us", "our"), we take your privacy seriously. Swoep offers an AI Company Assistant for logistics, wholesale and e-commerce businesses — a platform that provides teams with real-time insights and enables tasks to be performed automatically.
This privacy notice describes how we collect, use and share personal data (persoonsgegevens), in line with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR; Algemene Verordening Gegevensbescherming, AVG), Dutch privacy legislation (Nederlandse privacywetgeving) and other applicable regulations.
This notice applies to www.swoep.ai and the associated services, including our Swoep Connector application (available, among other things, as a TikTok integration).
What data we process
We use data from the waitlist and contact form — name, organisation, work email address and, if provided, telephone number — to contact you, and store it in the internal systems of Swoep/New Kids IT. You may request deletion of this data via support@swoep.ai.
When you visit our website, we measure without cookies which pages you view, where you click, how far you scroll and how long you are active, together with your IP address, browser and device type, and approximate location (country, region and city). Based on your IP address and browser data, including through Snitcher, we may infer the company or network provider associated with the visit. If you subsequently complete the waitlist or contact form, we link that visit to your request. See section 06 for more information.
We do not collect special categories of personal data (bijzondere categorieën persoonsgegevens) or data concerning children. Swoep is intended exclusively for business use by persons aged 18 or over.
Why we process data
Retention periods (bewaartermijnen)
We retain personal data (persoonsgegevens) for as long as there is a legitimate business reason to do so — for example, to provide the service or comply with legal obligations (wettelijke verplichtingen), including tax and administrative obligations.
Once no legal basis for processing (verwerkingsgrond) remains, we delete or anonymise the data. Anonymised or aggregated data may be retained for statistical purposes.
Fixed periods apply to website visits: we retain your full IP address and the company data inferred from it for no more than 30 days, individual click and page data for approximately six months (we delete this monthly), and summarised visit sessions (without the full IP address) for 13 months. We retain companies identified by Snitcher, together with the pages viewed from that company, for 13 months after the last visit.
Third parties we engage
We work with trusted suppliers for our infrastructure and services. The parties below may process personal data (persoonsgegevens) on behalf of Swoep:
We prefer suppliers that process data within the EU/EEA (EU/EER). Where data is processed outside the EU, appropriate safeguards (passende waarborgen) have been implemented — such as Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) issued by the European Commission (Europese Commissie).
Cookies
Cookies are small text files stored on your device. They provide basic functionality, remember your preferences and help us improve the service.
We do not use analytical cookies (analytische cookies) or marketing cookies (marketingcookies). We do not engage in behavioural advertising. We use Snitcher to identify companies without using cookies; see below.
For our website statistics, we use our own measurement system, without cookies and without third-party advertising or analytics services. We recognise a visit by means of a code that we recalculate each day from your IP address and browser. This code changes daily, so we do not track you across multiple days. We do not measure what you type into form fields.
To infer from your IP address which organisation a visit is associated with, we query the IP address through ipapi.is (Germany). The result is indicative and is retained for no more than 30 days.
We also load the script of Snitcher B.V. (Hilversum; data stored in the EU). Snitcher sees your IP address, browser and device data, and the pages you view, and informs us which company the visit is associated with. The script does not set cookies and uses only temporary storage in your browser tab, which disappears when you close the tab. Information you enter in forms is not sent to Snitcher. We retain company data and pages visited for identified companies for no more than 13 months. We do not load Snitcher if #no-track is used or if a Global Privacy Control setting is enabled in your browser.
If you do not wish to be counted, open the website once with #no-track appended to the address (for example, www.swoep.ai/#no-track). We then store that choice only in your own browser and no longer measure your visits. You may also object via support@swoep.ai.
You may change your cookie preferences at any time through your browser settings or our cookie preference controls on the platform.

Submitting a complaint
If you believe that we do not process your personal data (persoonsgegevens) correctly, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens, AP) via www.autoriteitpersoonsgegevens.nl.
Changes to this notice
We reserve the right to amend this privacy notice. We will communicate significant changes by email or through the platform. We recommend that you consult this page regularly.
